This statement describes Airfree’s approach to tax. We are committed to complying with our tax obligations and to transparency in how we manage tax.
1. Our tax principles
Airfree is committed to paying the right amount of tax, in the right place, at the right time. We comply with the tax laws of Australia and the other jurisdictions in which we operate, and we do not use artificial or contrived structures whose sole purpose is to reduce tax.
2. Governance
Responsibility for tax strategy sits with senior management and the board. We manage tax risk conservatively and seek professional advice where matters are complex or uncertain.
3. Group structure
The Airfree group is structured with Airfree Services Pty Ltd as the intellectual-property and infrastructure holding company, licensing to trading subsidiaries under intercompany arrangements. These arrangements are conducted on arm’s-length terms consistent with Australian transfer-pricing rules.
4. Relationship with tax authorities
We aim to maintain an open, cooperative, and professional relationship with the Australian Taxation Office and other relevant authorities, and to make full and accurate disclosures in our tax filings.
