When to use OAuth versus an app password, and how single sign-on works with Airfree Mail.

Airfree Mail supports single sign-on through the shared Airfree identity provider. In the web app you sign in with SSO; desktop and mobile clients that speak IMAP use app passwords instead.

Which to use

Web app and official mobile apps: sign in with Airfree SSO.
Third-party IMAP clients: generate an app password per device.
Revoke a lost device by deleting its app password — no need to change your account password.
