Airfree Mail v3.2 — encrypted Drive out of beta, new mobile apps

Version 3.2 is our largest release this year. The headline is that encrypted Drive leaves beta and is now available on every plan, but there is a lot in the mobile apps too.

Encrypted Drive, generally available

Drive stores your files with the same zero-knowledge encryption as your mailbox: files are encrypted on your device before upload, and we never hold the keys in the clear. During the beta we validated sharing, versioning, and large-file uploads; it is now on by default for Free, Start, and Business plans.

• Zero-knowledge file storage with client-side encryption.
• Encrypted sharing links with optional expiry and passwords.
• File versioning with 30-day history on paid plans.

New iOS and Android apps

The rebuilt mobile apps are offline-first: your recent mail, calendar, and contacts are available with no connection, and changes sync when you are back online. Push notifications now arrive without exposing message contents to the notification service.

Upgrading

Web users are already on v3.2 — no action needed. Update the mobile apps from the App Store or Google Play to get offline sync. Existing Drive beta files carry over automatically.
