How to update your payment method

Keeping a valid payment method on file means renewals and subscriptions go through without interruption. You can add several and choose which is the default.

Updating it

• Go to Billing → Payment methods.
• Add a new card or payment method, or edit an existing one.
• Set the default that should be used for automatic charges.

If a payment fails

A declined charge triggers an email and a retry over the following days. Update the method promptly to avoid a lapse — for domains, an expired registration can take your site and email offline.
