Setting up DKIM in 5 minutes
DKIM adds a cryptographic signature to your outbound email so receiving servers can verify it genuinely came from your domain. Generate a key pair and add one TXT record.
DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) attaches a cryptographic signature to every message you send. The receiving server fetches your public key from DNS and verifies the signature, proving the message really came from your domain and was not altered in transit. Setting it up takes about five minutes.
Generate the key
In Airfree Clouds, go to Email → Authentication → DKIM and generate a key pair for your domain. We keep the private half and give you the public half, along with the selector name to publish it under.
Publish the TXT record
Add the public key as a TXT record in your DNS at the selector we provide. If your DNS is with Airfree Clouds, we offer to add it for you in one click.
airfree._domainkey.example.com. TXT "v=DKIM1; k=rsa; p=MIGfMA0GCSq..."Verify it passes
Back on the DKIM page, run the check — it confirms the record is published and valid. You can also send a message to a Gmail address and use Show original to confirm DKIM shows PASS. Pair DKIM with SPF and DMARC for full email authentication.
